  • Montessori Head Teacher, (Montessori Certified, BA or equivalent required, with minimum 1 year experience,)
  • Teacher Assistant(minimum 12 ECE units,)

We Need Teachers Who:
Believe Jesus is the Son of God, who is the ONE true God in the form of the Holy Trinity: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Attend a local church regularly and have been baptized.
Create and execute lesson plans by implementing Montessori Methods of Practical Life, Sensorial, Geography, Science, Language, and Math, in addition to the teachings of the Christian faith.
Plan, prepare, and provide crafts and art projects according to the monthly themes.
Maintain order, prepare the educational material, and supervise the classroom environment with an assistant teacher.
Communicate with parents and encourage a trust-based relationship with the school.
Prepare for and conduct Parent-Teacher Conferences.
Are attentive to the safety and the physical well-being of the children placed in their care.
Are passionate about working with children of all ages, and are motivated to help them achieve their goals academically, socially, and emotionally.

Educational/Training Requirements:

Montessori Head Teacher: Early Childhood Education degree BA or equivalent is required; at least 1 year of experience, AMS or AMI Montessori training and/or Montessori certificate is required.
Teacher Assistant: 12 core semester units in Child Development, Child, Family & Community and Curriculum in Early Childhood Education are required. At least 1 year of center experience is preferred.
LiveScan fingerprints and a valid driver’s license.
Current TB test and a current Health Report.
Must be currently authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications:

Ability to teach the Bible and practice good Christian faith and character
Ability to preach to young children about the Gospel, prayer, and praise
Ability to prepare, design, and make educational material for new classrooms
Ability to relate to toddlers or preschoolers in a positive and constructive manner
Ability to understand each child’s developmental stage
Ability to communicate professionally with parents, coworkers, and the Director
Ability to share concerns, ask questions, and provide feedbacks
The desire to learn different/new things
Ability to assist with potty training
Willing to change diapers (if there is a need)
